The Qaqaa Army officially announced itself yesterday, 11 June, in a statement obtained by the Ugarit Post.
During an exclusive interview with Ahmed Al-Rahhal, the “Ugarit Post” raised several questions about the goal of forming the “Al Qaqaa Army” and trying to merge it with the Turkish-backed factions, and whether “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” seeks to penetrate the areas under the control of the factions at the expense of the “Syrian National Army”.

What is the aim of Turkey’s endeavor to form a new army under the name of “Al Qaqaa Army” to merge “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” with the Syrian opposition factions?
This news is unrealistic, and if Turkey takes such a step, it must, as a first stage, remove Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham from the lists of terrorism, and I believe that this is not available in the current period.
Does Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham seek to penetrate the areas under the control of the Turkish-backed factions at the expense of the “Syrian National Army”?
Yes, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham is trying to be the party in control of the scene, which During the last period, it devoured more than 26 factions.
Do you think that this step comes to protect Idlib from any military operation by Russia and the Syrian government in the future, and in your opinion, what will be the position of the West and America towards this step?
Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham does not seek to overthrow the “regime” for the sake of the revolution, nor does it seek the victory of the revolution, as it works to exploit the weakness of both parties to implement its project.
As for the position of Western countries and America, it is not possible to deal with or recognize Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham because it is a terrorist group.
