After the Astana talks, Turkey informs the factions of the indefinite postponement of the operation in northern Syria
Syrian opposition sources confirmed that Turkey informed the "National Army" factions, after the 18th round of the “Astana” talks, to postpone its military operation in northern Syria indefinitely.
The sources told Almodon that this may be the result of new understandings reached between the guarantor countries, “Turkey, Russia and Iran” for the Astana track.
The sources pointed out that there were no preparations on the ground by the factions, at least, but rather that they were “immersed in their internal conflicts that would not have exploded in this way had it not been for the postponement of the operation indefinitely.”
