Source for Ugarit: Turkey reduced the salaries of members of the Syrian coalition to a third!
An official source in the Syrian opposition coalition revealed to the Ugarit Post network that the Turkish government has significantly reduced the monthly salaries of coalition members.
The source, who preferred not to be named, said that during the past few months, Turkey has reduced the salaries of opposition coalition members to a third.
A few days ago, the Ugarit Network quoted a source in the opposition coalition as saying, ” During the last period, some members of the coalition have written to Arab and regional countries to obtain residence permits or asylum requests there, and some of them have also started leaving Turkey”.
He pointed out that a number of coalition members submitted asylum applications to Qatar and Saudi Arabia, in addition to the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
This comes in light of media leaks and statements of Turkish officials, led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, about rapprochement with the Syrian government, in addition to the disclosure of intelligence meetings between the two parties that took place during the recent period.
